LAND USE:
Development is essential to the overall economic climate of our region. Municipalities are continually looking to develop retail centers, residential communities, office complexes and other projects. Helping our property owning clients and developers obtain the necessary land use entitlements and approvals is critical to their ability to turn undeveloped property into a successful and profitable development.

We have broad experience navigating the complex zoning, permitting, and tax and bond issues related to all types and sizes of development projects. We are skilled in drafting development agreements to secure the necessary entitlements, permits and land use designations for our clients' projects including general and specific plan amendments, zone changes, site development permits, development agreements, variances, tract maps, parcel maps and other project approvals.

Critical to our clients' success is our strong working relationships with county and city planning officials, neighborhood representatives, commissions and administrators, developers and other associations which assists our clients in obtaining the appropriate land use and permitting approvals.

ZONING:
We frequently handle zoning and development matters for commercial and residential developments including new communities, planned residential developments, and office and industrial parks.

Our lawyers have substantial experience in handling a variety of complex zoning matters ranging from simple variance requests to complete re-zonings. We are extremely sensitive to the political realities that arise in the ordinary course of any zoning engagement. Through our longstanding associations, our firm enjoys cooperative working relationships with local governmental authorities.
